Oct 25 – Deadline to submit work to Centripetal!
Your original poems, short stories, scripts, etc., can be submitted via email to psupoetsandwriters@gmail.com. They are accepting up to 4 pieces of writing and/or 4 pieces of artwork. There is a maximum of 4000 cumulative words for written submissions.

Nov 6 – Deadline to submit poems for the 2025 Wildcat Prize
The 2025 Wildcats Poetry Prize—funded by the YAS Foundation and managed by the University of New Hampshire’s English Department—was created to promote and honor excellence in writing at the college level. Each year, students enrolled on any USNH campus are invited to submit their original poetry for a chance to be published in an anthology that will be housed in the library at the University of New Hampshire Durham. Two first and two second prize winners will be awarded $1,000 and $500 prizes respectively, and will read their winning poems at the Nossrat Yassini Poetry Festival on April 18, 2025. Our own Dan Harrison (’24) was a winner last year, and several other PSU English major poets also had work included in the anthology. November 11 – Submission deadline for Sink Hollow (undergraduate literary journal)
Sink Hollow is an undergraduate literary journal seeking provocative, resonant, polished pieces of work. They accept all original fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and art. Details and complete submission guidelines available HERE

November 29 – Submission Deadline for The Albion Review Undergraduate Literary Journal
All contributors will be considered for the Albion Review Art, Poetry, and/or Prose prize. One winner in each category will be selected to receive $200. If chosen for publication, all contributors will appear in the print and online edition; contributors from the United States will receive two print copies of the journal.
