The Ellen Reeder’s New Student Editor

Hello to everyone and welcome back to PSU! I hope everyone had a safe and relaxing break. Before the semester takes off, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself.
My name is Asia Merrill. I’m a fourth year English major and, more recently, the student editor for The Ellen Reeder this semester. I’m also the editor of the Plymouth Voices section of The Clock.

I’m excited for the opportunity to work so closely with both publications, and I would love to have more peer collaboration within the community’s digital media sphere. My inbox is always open, so feel free to reach out at amm1117@plymouth.edu. Plymouth Voices is a platform for creative work of any kind, so I would love to see visual art, short stories, poetry, or even political cartoons if you have them.
The Ellen Reeder also will gladly consider pieces up to 1,000 words in length about relevant topics, news and current events, and possibly op-eds. We’d love to hear department news, pedagogy thoughts, and major-specific discourse, so please don’t hesitate if you have questions, suggestions, or even critique. I look forward to hearing from you! Have a great semester!
